Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you sign up for MatchMGT, we collect your email address and password (stored in hashed form), which are required to create and protect your account.

When you use the chat analysis feature, the text you paste is sent to the Anthropic API (Claude) for processing. We do not keep that text in our database once the analysis has been generated; Anthropic may retain it temporarily in accordance with its own privacy policy.

The contact data (names, notes, dates, availability) that you enter manually is stored in our database in order to provide you with the service.

We collect basic technical information such as your country of origin (via Cloudflare’s CF-IPCountry header) to show you prices in the correct currency and for fraud prevention.

2. How we use your information

We use your email address to authenticate you, send you service notifications and, if you agree, communications about MatchMGT news.

Your contacts’ data is used exclusively to provide you with the features of the application: profiles, reminders, compatibility analysis and suggestions.

Your country information is used to show you prices in your local currency through Polar, our payment processor.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.

3. Third-party processing

Anthropic (Claude API): the chats you import for analysis are processed by the Anthropic API. This processing is subject to Anthropic’s privacy policy, which you can review at anthropic.com.

Cloudflare: our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1. Cloudflare may process network traffic data in accordance with its privacy policy.

Resend: the Service’s transactional emails (account verification, reminders and notifications) are sent through Resend, which processes your email address for that sole purpose, in accordance with its own privacy policy.

Polar: payments are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record and handles taxes and local currency. MatchMGT does not store credit card data or sensitive financial information.

Cloudflare Turnstile: we use this service to verify that users are human during sign-up and log-in.

Sign in with Google: if you choose to sign up or log in with Google, we validate your identity through Google OAuth. Google acts as identity provider in accordance with its own privacy policy.

MarIA assistant: our artificial intelligence assistant (hosted at ia.matchmgt.com) answers questions on the site. Conversations are processed in order to give you an answer and may generate contact events; we ask you not to enter sensitive data in the chat.

4. Storage and security

Your data is stored in SQLite databases managed by Cloudflare D1, with infrastructure located in Cloudflare data centers.

Passwords are hashed with secure algorithms before being stored. We never store passwords in plain text.

Communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

We implement access controls using JWT (JSON Web Tokens) to ensure that only you can access your data.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.

If you create an account but do not verify your email address, we send you up to four reminders and, if it remains unverified, your account and its data are automatically and permanently deleted.

You may request the deletion of your account and all your data at any time by sending an email to [email protected]. We will process your request within 30 business days.

Infrastructure backups may retain copies of data for a brief additional period, after which they are automatically deleted.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete the personal information we store about you.

You can export your data by contacting us at [email protected].

You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time.

If you are in Argentina, your rights are protected by Law 25,326 on the Protection of Personal Data.

7. Cookies, measurement and advertising

MatchMGT uses the browser’s local storage (localStorage) to keep your session active (JWT token), remember your preferences and save your consent choice.

On our website we use Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads and the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure product usage and the effectiveness of our campaigns.

To improve conversion measurement, we may share with Meta, through its server-side Conversions API, events of your activity together with technical identifiers (fbp/fbc cookies) and, where you have provided them, your email address or phone number in encrypted (hashed) form. This data is used solely for advertising attribution and optimization; it is never sold.

These technologies operate in consent mode (Consent Mode v2): they remain disabled until you accept them in the cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify significant changes through the application or by email.

Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
